From House Leader John Boehner

Dear Fellow Conservative,

With a week to go before the election, Democrats are upping the ante in their economic assault on families and small businesses, promising to "spread the wealth" and strip workers of their right to a secret ballot.

I need your help to stop it

*Senator Barack Obama's (D-IL) destructive plan to "substantially redistribute income -- raising tax rates" to give money to people who do not pay income taxes.
*House Financial Services Committee Chairman Barney Frank (D-MA)'s plot to raise taxes and cut national security spending by 25 percent - in the middle of two wars!
*The Obama-Pelosi-Reid scheme to spend another $300 billion on political pork and other items that will do nothing to stabilize and grow our economy long-term.
*Congressional Democrats' plan for a big payback to Big Labor, voting to replace secret ballots in deciding union elections with the highly controversial and undemocratic card check

We also need to make sure voters know about Democrats' ties to groups like ACORN, and the role they played in blocking reform of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, the heavily regulated mortgage firms at the heart of our economic crisis.

Democrats' destructive economic agenda contrasts sharply with our pro-growth reform plans. The Republican plan will create new jobs and lower energy prices without raising taxes or wasting billions of pork. We will:

*Cut taxes on small businesses, letting them use their money to create jobs.
*Give tax relief to middle-class families as well, to help them with the cost of living.
*Quickly rebuild Americans' 401(k)s by cutting the capital gains tax to zero.
*Enact comprehensive "all of the above" energy reform to create 1 million new jobs.

This isn't a theoretical campaign promise. This is the pro-growth plan we'll put head-to-head with Democrats' pork-laden "stimulus" immediately after the election.

It's crunch time. Americans need to know what they'll get with a Democrat-led Congress and a Democrat in the White House.

Together we can deliver real, pro-growth economic reforms that create new jobs, lower energy costs, and allow our employers to compete. Together we can fix a broken Washington.

John Boehner (R-OH)
