All I Can Say Is .....Wow
A couple of weeks ago, I posted an email I received. It had passed through the Internet for the last couple of years and I thought it interesting and worthwhile to post here. It was called What I Am.
The premise was that a gentleman had had enough of Howard Dean's statement that most Republicans had never done an honest day's work in their life and he wanted to rebut it. This gentleman, George J. Esseff, Sr., paid $104,655.60 to run a full page ad in the Washington Post because he is tired of the way the rich are portrayed by the snobbish elite limosine liberals and others who are just plan jealous of the those who have worked all their lives to make a nice life for themselves and their familes.
It was a nice read. However I deleted it this morning after I read the comment attached to it. Oh, not because it disagreed in any way with Mr. Esseff's essay. It had nothing to do with the post at all. At least, I couldn't figure out how it related, it was longer that the original post, and, I'm sorry to say, just didn't make much sense to me. And it also contained one word that I just don't allow here. Had it been just that one unacceptable word, I would have edited that much and left the rest. My blog, my rules.

For some reason, I couldn't delete just the comments as I have done in the past. I'll repost the Mr. Esseff's essay in a few days. If anyone wants to comment, please do. If you want to read the essay before I repost it, go to snopes.com or Google it.
